So far we have booked 41 nights and spent €722.80 on it.
This corresponds to an average price per night of around €17.6.
Unfortunately, these low prices won't stay the same. From Sydney at the latest, the rude awakening will come, for better or worse.

As expected, hotel prices in Sydney are significantly higher.
We're not shocked, but we've gotten used to the low prices in Asia. The hotel in Sydney is comparatively affordable.
It is a few kilometers away from the center but has good transport links.
We are curious about the prices in Hawaii and San Francisco.

The overnight stays in Hawaii are now also booked. Expensive fun, but it was clear in advance that Hawaii is an expensive place.
Overall, it can now be stated that the eleven nights in Sydney and Honolulu cost about one and a half times as much as the 41 nights in Asia.

We have now arrived at an average price of €36.9 per night. We will probably be able to maintain this level or even get a little lower.
Once we're out of San Francisco, the cost of lodging will go down again.
In any case, we will try not to exceed the 4000 euro limit for the approx. 125 overnight stays on our trip.
